Yes the manhua was pretty great as these things go. For me that was probably the first really decent Chinese manhua although I did finally get bored after 500 or 600 chapters of the same thing over and over again.

I read too near 200 chapters, but let see how Donghua work's.

There was one recently that I really liked. A cultivation story, but not with the same dumb repetitive plot as all the rest. Its by Drake Scans and it is called: Plundering the Heavens. The mc doesn't really have an OP cheat the way most of them do. He survives by his wits alone. Its interesting that his wits are not an OP cheat. Sometimes his schemes work, sometimes they don't. I found it rather refreshing. He does have a "thing" that no one else has, but it is sort of like a super dictionary or encyclopedia. He can pretty much identify any item, pill, weapon, elixir etc. Now you would think this would get him on the fast track to becoming a refiner: weapon smith, alchemy or something...but he couldn't care less for these things and has no interest in pursuing these boring activities at all! In the beginning its a little over the top in that he is only 10 years old and full of schemes. But when you find out he was raised by bandits all his methods make sense. The manhua was so good that I had to read the novel, which I also really enjoyed. Unfortunately the translations stopped at chapter 425 and that was in 2018...so its stuck there.

what a horrible plot. dude died instead of just giving her a chance. was gonna give her everything untill he saw her face. even though he probably didn't have anything to give her which is why he fell in love with a person who he never met and fell out of love as soon as he didn't like her face and beard LMAOOOOO. then peeks at a girl bathing. he pretty much deserves his death and maybe another one.

Give "her" a chance?! That was not a female, that was a tranny. And catfishing is generally frowned upon. Wtf would you give a liar a chance? Or insist that a man give a guy a try? lol Makes no sense. Also, the peeking thing is not only a xianxia trope but also quite an accident.
